Find the actual problem
The first session is diagnostic: recent work, a short set of targeted questions, and a conversation. A student losing marks in mechanics usually doesn’t have a mechanics problem — they have an algebra gap from two years earlier. We look for that first.
Build around the diagnosis
Sessions are shaped by what the diagnosis found, and adjusted as things change. Some students settle into a steady weekly hour; others want longer sessions, or a second one in the run-up to exams. We’ll tell you what we think is needed — you decide.
Exam technique from day one
Past-paper questions from the first weeks, not saved for study leave. Knowing the content and scoring the marks are two different skills — and technique is the one schools rarely have time to teach.
